Product Description
Anemone ‘Queen Charlotte’ aka ‘Konigin Charlotte’; Common Name: Japanese Anemone, winlowers. Zones 4 to 8. Full sun to part shade. Generally prefers partial shade. Plants reach 2 to 3 feet tall and 24 to 36 inches wide;rapid, not aggressive, growth; spreads by creeping rhizomes.
Large 3 to 4 inch, semi-double light pink blossoms have a cluster of bright yellow stamens in the center. Flowers top tall, wiry stems above shorter clumps of dark green, basal foliage. Blooms prolifically from late summer through early fall; and rising late spring, they make an ideal cover for the dying foliage of spring bulbs.
