Some shrubs can only be described as huggable and snuggable. Twisted Brillance Arborvitae (Thuja occidentalis ‘Degroot’s Spire’) looks as soft as a feather with its gorgeous green foliage.

This specimen has shorter foliage than most others in the Thuja family. It gets its name from the slightly spiraled growth habit the branches grow in.

There’s no need for pruning here, this evergreen keeps its bracts nice and neat all on its own.

Landscapes in need of a little winter color can look to this arborvitae. The dark green foliage tingest slightly purple, giving it additional interest in those monochrome months.
