Talstar P Professional Insecticide is a water-based bifenthrin insecticide designed for long-lasting control of a wide range of structural, lawn, landscape, ornamental, greenhouse, and perimeter pests. Labeled for indoor and outdoor use, Talstar P controls ants, mosquitoes, cockroaches, spiders, fleas, ticks, bed bugs, termites, and many other listed pests in residential, commercial, industrial, institutional, food-handling, livestock, kennel, turf, and ornamental settings.

Professional Bifenthrin Insect Control

Talstar P contains 7.9% bifenthrin and provides broad-spectrum residual control with a low-odor, non-staining, water-based formulation. It can be used as a perimeter spray, crack-and-crevice treatment, lawn and ornamental treatment, mosquito control application, and labeled termite treatment when applied according to the product label.

Where to Use Talstar P Professional

Talstar P is labeled for use in and around residential, institutional, public, commercial, and industrial buildings, food-handling establishments, greenhouses, animal confinement facilities, kennels, lawns, ornamentals, parks, recreational areas, and athletic fields.

Target Pests Controlled

Controls many listed pests including ants, mosquitoes, cockroaches, bed bugs, fleas, ticks, spiders, scorpions, crickets, silverfish, earwigs, boxelder bugs, pillbugs, sowbugs, stink bugs, termites, beetles, aphids, mites, Japanese beetles, leafhoppers, mealybugs, and more.

Application Notes

For general mosquito control, the label lists 0.33 to 1.0 fl oz per gallon of water, applied at 1 gallon of finished spray per 1,000 sq ft. Use the higher rate for residual mosquito control. For other pests and sites, follow the full label directions for proper dilution, placement, retreatment intervals, and restrictions.
