Product Description
Alcea rosea ‘Fiesta Time’ (30)ct FlatCommon Name: Hollyhock
This vibrant seed selection produces relatively short spikes of double, cerise pink, fringed blossoms beginning in midsummer. This is a first year flowering perennial.
The shorter height of ‘Fiesta Time’ makes it more suitable to courtyard gardens and containers than its taller cousins. Feel free to grow hollyhocks under Black Walnut trees; they are tolerant of the toxic juglone that is emitted through the trees’ roots.
Hollyhocks prefer rich, moist, well-drained soil but can tolerate short periods of drought. They need full sun to really perform in the landscape. Watch for Japanese Beetles; this plant is one of their favorites!

This short-lived perennial or biennial adds a touch of old-fashioned charm and a burst of color to borders, cottage gardens, or containers.
‘Fiesta Time’ is a compact cultivar of Hollyhock, known for its shorter stature and abundant blooms. The flowers are large and double, with fringed petals in a vibrant cerise-pink.
