Casoron 4G is a powerful pre-emergent herbicide designed to control a broad spectrum of tough weeds around established woody ornamentals, non-crop areas, fruit and nut trees, and nursery stock. Powered by the active ingredient dichlobenil, Casoron 4G prevents weed growth by inhibiting seed germination and root cell division, creating a long-lasting barrier against unwanted vegetation.

Ideal for landscapes and perennial crops, Casoron 4G forms a vapor barrier in the soil that remains active for up to 9–10 months. Best applied in late fall or early spring during cooler temperatures, the granules must be watered in with ½ to 1 inch of overhead irrigation to ensure proper incorporation. Avoid using on newly planted trees less than 6 months old.
