Juncus filiformis ‘Spiralis’ Common Name: Rush – Dwarf Corkscrew Rush. Zone (4) 5 to 10 (11). Sun to part shade. Mature foliage height 9 to 12 inches and width 12 to 14 inches,dwarf evergreen groundcover.
Dark, shiny, green, wire-like, tightly curled foliage resembles a tangle of spiral corkscrews. Tiny, dark flowers emerge from the side of the foliage. ‘Spiralis’ will grow best in moist to boggy soils, or standing water.
Attributes: Use as bog plant, in containers, and in ponds. Deer resistant.
