I bought these on a whim during an end of season sale in 2024 and raced to get the bulbs planted before winter. Good thing as our normal mild zone 7b winter was a doozy with brutal cold and tons of snow. I had little hope these survived let alone would do much of anything.I’m on a larger piece of land and the first bloom just opened 1/4 mile from my front door and WOW the color is a showstopper even at that distance: Vibrant. Pure. Big.This is late March and the rest of the pack is now ready to bloom – the anticipation is a thrill! I need more!The plants’ foliage is healthy, plump and vibrant in color.
