GREAT EXPECTATIONS Hosta (J. Bond/P. Aden 1988) Large. Chartreuse center may turn creamy white, with dark green margin. Beautiful large puckered leaves with interesting dark green margins and bluish streaks towards the center. Mature size – 33 inches wide x 22 inches height. White flowers. sport of sieboldiana elegans. A specimen that will live up to its name. One of the world’s most beautiful Hosta varieties. Wide, irregular, blue-green margins surround an ever-changing center; starts out chartreuse in the spring, turns to yellow, then to creamy yellow, and finally to white (colors vary with light levels).
